Dorset Wellbeing Choir

There are currently no singing activities available in Dorset which are suitable for individuals who have communication difficulties caused by acquired brain damage such as a stroke or from disease such as Alzheimer’s.

The Choir

  • Aims to create a singing activity specifically designed to benefit stroke survivors struggling with aphasia and those living with dementia.

  • Aims to create a fun social environment, which fosters confidence for those living with communication difficulties, together with their carers, family and friends.

Where & When?

From enquiries already received, I plan to continue holding sessions at the Howe Croft Community Centre, Bournemouth BH11 9BG. I also plan to hold sessions in in Wareham and Dorchester – details to be finalised dependant on enquiries.
